The Daily 5
Our Cycle 2 class is really involved with the Daily 5. What is the Daily 5? The Daily 5 is a LAnguage Arts program that fosters literacy independence in the elementary grades. There are five components to the Daily 5: read to self, read to someone, listening to reading, writing, and word work. Our class has been doing the Daily 5 since the beginning of the year, and we now feel quite comfortable with it. Below are some pictures of us in action with the Daily 5.
